Author John MacKay wrote this book as a tribute to his late wife Christy Annie MacKay who was born and raised in Harris. John's first visit to Harris was in 1963 and he returned often with his wife over the next 55 years. A keen photographer and lover of all things Harris John has brilliant captured everyday life in Harris during this time. He has also expertly researched subjects such as Harris Tweed, the fishing industry in the islands and Crofting.
